(Disney Plus) Review of Korean Drama “Moving Season 1”

I’m planning to watch carefully as it’s still the beginning. I just finished a watch of the recently released drama “Moving” at the same time. There was some hesitation due to mixed opinions among my friends, but with all my favorite actors appearing in the show, I naturally had to watch it. Surprisingly, the chemistry between Go Yun-jung and Lee Seung-bum’s characters at Jungwon High School was fantastic. In conclusion, I’m eagerly awaiting the release of Episode 8. Not all episodes have been released yet, and I’m curious if there will be a Season 2. Ryu Seung-bum, Cha Tae-hyun, Jo In-sung, and Han Hyo-joo – I’m really curious about how their stories will conclude.

One of the aspects that truly keeps me intrigued is the potential direction of Season 2. While not all the episodes have been unveiled, the prospect of seeing Ryu Seung-bum, Cha Tae-hyun, Jo In-sung, and Han Hyo-joo together in pivotal roles is exhilarating. What kind of conclusion will the creators deliver? It’s a question that keeps me on my toes and eager for each new installment.

Though I haven’t had the chance to read the original webtoon, the Disney+ moving drama has been a rollercoaster of emotions from episode 1 to 7. However, I did notice that Jo In-sung’s screen time was comparatively limited. Nevertheless, the character dynamics and plot twists have been keeping me thoroughly engaged.

Speaking of plot twists, the introduction of original characters like Moving Ryu Seung-bum and Moving Cha Tae-hyun adds a unique layer to the series. Their compelling yet brutal portrayal of villains is a masterstroke. The showdown between them and later interactions with Jang Joo-won left an indelible mark. It’s moments like these that had me wondering if the show might cross into a more mature rating territory. Still, the first 7 episodes maintained a balanced level of intensity.

Despite some occasional awkwardness in CG scenes, I believe the production value of Moving is top-tier. As the series progresses, these technical aspects are likely to improve, and I’m looking forward to seeing that growth. Notably, Han Hyo-joo’s acting was seamless, putting my initial concerns at ease, and allowing me to fully immerse myself in the story.

The trio of Go Yun-jung, Ryu Seung-bum, and Cha Tae-hyun, who represent Jungwon High School, are characters I’ve grown deeply attached to. While the pacing of episodes 1 to 7 might have felt slightly slow, it appears to be laying the groundwork for an even more thrilling latter part. As the episodes unfold, the series truly comes into its own, delivering on the promise of entertainment.
