Do you wanna see night view in Gyeongbokgung-Palace(경복궁) ?

Now. I will introduce Gyeongbokgung-Palace which is the most famous in Seoul know information about amazing event to you guys.

This palace was built by king “Taejo” in Joseon dynasty in 1395 when the construction of the main royal Palace was completed after the capital of the newly founded dynasty moved from Gaeseong to Seoul.

It is about touring in Gyeongbokgung-Palace at night. It is good to see the palace a day time, but especially at night, it would be more beautiful and gorgeous with collaboration between the structure and lighting. You must see the reflection of the Palace on the fond which is fantastic as you see below.

This picture is from Gyeonghoeru Pavilion. It is really awesome structure with lighting. This pavilion, built on the pond west of Gangnyeongjeon Hall, the king’s living quarters, was where the king threw feasts for foreign envoys or his court officials. The name means that the king is capable of handling national affairs only when he has the right people around him, it was used on joyous occasions.

There are many halls which have each occasions or special purpose. so come here and have a look inside. you can recognize the different patterns of each halls.

They usually run from 9 am to 6 pm. But, They will run from 7 pm to 9:30 pm but run from 7 pm to 10 pm at night (Summer season : June-July) during the special night event (last 2 weeks a each month from 29th of April to 3th of November)

You must be aware of going inside until 8:30 pm and 9:00 (Summer season) Don’t be late !!!

They are selling the 500 tickets which cost 3,000 won each for only foreigners a day. so If you are foreigner, just go to the site and show the Passport or Id card then buy it. but you are limited to buy tickets less than 5 (Max 4 per 1 person)

Plus, If you are wearing the Hanbok(한복), you can go inside for free. Wearing Hanbok with the Palace would be perfect combination.

There are lots of the rental shops nearby the Palace, so Why don’t you wear Hanbok and enjoy the night in the Palace?
