Rank 5, GS 25

Annual Revenue: 677 million won

GS25 is the fifth largest franchise brand in Korea with the highest annual sales. GS25 is a convenience store franchise brand operated by GS Retail.

LG25, which first appeared in 1990, changed its brand name to GS25 from 2005, and now ranks first in the convenience store industry. GS25’s annual average annual sales are known to be about 677 million won.

Rank 4, Pizza hut

Annual Revenue: 743.73 Million won

Pizza Hut is the fourth largest franchise brand in Korea with the highest annual sales. Pizza Hut is a global pizza franchise brand that originated in the United States, and is one of three pizza brands in Korea, with Domino’s Pizza and Mr. Pizza.

Pizza Hut stores in Korea are divided into retail stores, stores managed by other companies, and private stores. The average annual sales of Pizza Hut nationwide is about 747.73 million won.

Rank 3, Hanshin Pocha

Annual average sales: 1,056 million won

Hanshin Pocha is the third largest franchise brand in Korea with the highest annual sales. Hanshin Pocha is a franchise brand launched by Theborn Korea in 1998 and is a restaurant brand that can be easily found in downtown.

It has the image of the first large indoor stall in Korea, and Hanshin Chicken Feet, with spicy sauce, is becoming a popular menu. Hanshin Pocha’s annual average sales are known to be around 1,056 million won.

Annual average sales: 1,383 million won

Olive Young is the second largest franchise brand with the highest annual sales in Korea. Olive Young is a health and beauty store brand launched by CJ Group in 1999.

It sells cosmetics and imported sweets of various brands from abroad, and has the largest number of stores in the industry. The average annual sales of Olive Young nationwide is about 1,383.8 million won.

Annual average sales: 2,631.54 million won

GS The Fresh is the No. 1 franchise brand with the highest annual sales in Korea. GS The Fresh is a supermarket brand run by GS Retail and started with Lucky Super in 1974.

Since then, it has been operating under the brand name GS The Fresh since July 2019 after going through LG Supermarket and GS Supermarket.

New branches use the sign GS The Fresh. The annual sales of GS The Fresh nationwide is about 263.154 million won, almost twice times as Olive Young.
